Kee High students participated in a Smoothie Taste Test with the Food Services department today to decide this months Smoothie of the Month! It was quite the competition, but the Incredible Hawk Smoothie (Berry Banana Flavor) was the clear winner. This smoothie will be available on Wednesdays in the Kee High Kitchen as part of breakfast service for the month of April! We are super excited to add this new offering to our breakfast menu and loved letting the students pick their favorite flavor.

On Tuesday New Albin Elementary was happy to have Brittany Grover come and read a Disability Inclusion book to our students. She then did a project with them where they made goggles to show the children what it is like to live with near blindness.

The EASC Food Services Team is excited to be adding more and more local options to your menu! We recently collaborated with @treerangefarms to bring the Kee High students delicious local chicken legs for lunch! This chicken is not only local, it's regeneratively raised! Tree-Range Farms is dedicated to raising tasty chicken in a natural habitat - in fact, these chickens are raised in a "jungle like" habitat that honors the true environments of chickens. We are so excited to be partnering with them to bring their incredible product to our students plates! We love supporting our local farms!!
