A Huge Thank You to Our Custodial Staff
As we get ready to welcome students back, we want to take a moment to shine a light on a group of people whose hard work often happens behind the scenes — our incredible custodial staff.
Over the summer, while classrooms were quiet and hallways were empty, our custodians were hard at work. From deep cleaning every corner to moving furniture, waxing floors, and making repairs, they’ve poured countless hours and endless effort into making our school shine. This is tough, physical work — and it’s done with care, pride, and a dedication to our students and staff.
Most people don’t get to see just how much goes into preparing a school for the year ahead, but we do. And we couldn’t be more grateful. Our custodial team is the reason we start the year in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
To our custodians: thank you for everything you do, not just over the summer, but every single day. You are an essential part of our school family, and we appreciate you more than words can say.

Congratulations to 2025 Kee High graduate Jordan Cota on being selected by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association to participate in the Senior All-Star Series! Jordan will represent the Small School East Team as a pitcher. This is a great honor and a reflection of his hard work and dedication. Well done, Jordan!

It's the last week of the Summer Food Service Program at Kee High and New Albin Elementary! We have loved serving you meals this summer. We hope you'll join us for our final week this summer and enjoy these tasty offerings. Please note: New Albin's cafeteria is closed for floor waxing so all meals served there will be grab and go.
