Yeah… that really happened.

It's never too cold for ice cream is it? 7th grade Ag Exploratory made homemade ice cream last week in class. They made a variety of flavors. Each student made their own flavor and added what they wanted.

Due to the cold weather, Eastern Allamakee Community School District is closed today. Today will be a virtual learning day.

Virtual learning will begin at 9:00 AM.

Please note that the start time for tonight’s Varsity games at Turkey Valley have changed.

Varsity Girls will tip off at 5:45 PM.

Varsity Boys will play following the conclusion of the Varsity Girls game.

We will be running on a 2-hour late start today, Thursday, January 22. Thank you for your patience and stay safe!

Due to anticipated weather conditions, all evening activities will conclude by 5:00 PM today.

Please note that we will still be running the activity bus.

Jr. High boys basketball will return to Lansing by 5:00 PM. After dropping off the Jr. High boys, the activity bus will then head back to New Albin. Activity Bus will leave Lansing by 5:05 PM

🎉🏀 Congratulations to Rylee Mudderman!
She scored her 1,000th career point Friday night vs. MFL MarMac and helped lead the Kee Hawks to a 43–38 win! An incredible milestone! We are so proud of you, Rylee.

School Update
Due to drifting snow and dangerously cold wind chills, school is canceled today. Today will be a virtual learning day beginning at 10:30 AM. All after-school activities are canceled. Please stay safe and warm.

Due to forecasted wind chills, Eastern Allamakee Community School District will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, January 19. Please stay safe and dress warmly.

Seventh grade students are learning about where their food comes from in Ag Exploratory class. This week they made butter in mason jars. They made a salted, plain and honey cinnamon sugar butters. Learning never tasted so good!

Lansing FFA Soup Supper and Bake Sale is tonight starting at 5:00pm. It is free will donation. Come support the Lansing FFA Chapter and enjoy some delicious food and cheer on the Girls' and Boys' basketball teams! We hope to see you there! Go Hawks!

Junior Rylee Mudderman broke the school scoring record last night, pouring in 44 points as the Kee Hawks defeated New Hampton 68–46. 🏀💪 An unforgettable performance and a huge team win!

Consider supporting the Lansing FFA in their fundraising efforts this week. You can still purchase jams, salsas, and other treats. Talk to an FFA member if you would like anything. The FFA Soup Supper and Bake Sale is this Friday during the HS Basketball Games vs Waukon. It's a free will donation. Serving starts at 5pm in the HS cafeteria. Come support our basketball programs and enjoy a nice warm bowl of soup or macaroni and cheese.
