February is Career and Technical Education Month®! 🎉

This month, we proudly celebrate our CTE teachers who prepare students for success in both college and careers. Through hands-on learning, industry certifications, and real-world experiences, CTE educators help students turn their passions into professions.

A special thank you to Mr. Ray Rankin and Ms. Hannah Steiber for the incredible difference they make in our school community. Your passion and commitment empower students to achieve their goals!

We appreciate you today and every day!

Today our kids celebrated Valentine’s Day by sharing our long-standing tradition of stamp kisses. 💋 It’s a sweet and simple way our students spread a little love around the school.

🚜🌍 Ever wondered how farming works on the other side of the world? In June 2028, the Lansing FFA members along with fellow Kee High students are headed to Belgium & the Netherlands 🇧🇪🇳🇱 and you could be part of it. If you’re an ag student in 7th–10th grade and love: 🌱 agriculture ✈️ travel 🌎 new cultures …this opportunity is calling your name. Missed Mr. Rankin's emails? No stress, it’s not too late! 📧 Email Mr. Rankin to get the details for the interest meeting February 19th. Big world. Big opportunities. 🌍 Don’t just learn about agriculture, experience it.

Future engineers at work! This past week, Mrs. Cotas 6th grade science students have learned about thermal energy transfer and insulation materials. They are using that information to design, test, and refine water bottles/thermos containers. Once they complete their product, they will add hot water and measure the temperature to see how much the temperature changed over a period of time. We are excited to find out which design/insulating materials are the best for minimizing thermal energy transfer.

It's never too cold for ice cream is it? 7th grade Ag Exploratory made homemade ice cream last week in class. They made a variety of flavors. Each student made their own flavor and added what they wanted.
