This month, we proudly celebrate our CTE teachers who prepare students for success in both college and careers. Through hands-on learning, industry certifications, and real-world experiences, CTE educators help students turn their passions into professions.

Today our kids celebrated Valentine’s Day by sharing our long-standing tradition of stamp kisses. 💋 It’s a sweet and simple way our students spread a little love around the school.

On Wednesday, we proudly inducted five new members into the National Honor Society!

Being selected for NHS is more than an academic honor, it recognizes students who exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, and strong character. Induction is a reflection of their hard work, integrity, and commitment to making a positive impact in our school and community.

Seventh graders are learning about the National FFA Organization in Ag Exploratory class. This week they are learning about the official dress that is required of FFA members and how to tie a tie. Looking sharp 7th graders!

New Albin Elementary Preschool Open House will be held on February, 23rd from 3:00PM to 6:00PM.

Jam and salsa has arrived. It will be ready for pick up and deliver Monday after school. FFA members please make arrangements to get it picked up and delivered ASAP. Big shout out to Weezy for letting the FFA Chapter invade the library and for helping sort it all. Thank you!

Tonight we celebrate our 9 basketball seniors as we host Clayton Ridge at home with JV starting at 4:00 PM!

Future engineers at work! This past week, Mrs. Cotas 6th grade science students have learned about thermal energy transfer and insulation materials. They are using that information to design, test, and refine water bottles/thermos containers. Once they complete their product, they will add hot water and measure the temperature to see how much the temperature changed over a period of time. We are excited to find out which design/insulating materials are the best for minimizing thermal energy transfer.

National School Counseling Week shines a spotlight on the important work school counselors do to support students’ growth, well-being, and future success.

Yeah… that really happened.

It's never too cold for ice cream is it? 7th grade Ag Exploratory made homemade ice cream last week in class. They made a variety of flavors. Each student made their own flavor and added what they wanted.

Due to the cold weather, Eastern Allamakee Community School District is closed today. Today will be a virtual learning day.

Virtual learning will begin at 9:00 AM.

Varsity Girls will tip off at 5:45 PM.

Varsity Boys will play following the conclusion of the Varsity Girls game.

We will be running on a 2-hour late start today, Thursday, January 22. Thank you for your patience and stay safe!

Due to anticipated weather conditions, all evening activities will conclude by 5:00 PM today.

Please note that we will still be running the activity bus.

Jr. High boys basketball will return to Lansing by 5:00 PM. After dropping off the Jr. High boys, the activity bus will then head back to New Albin. Activity Bus will leave Lansing by 5:05 PM
