Happy Earth Day! Today, Lansing FFA members rolled up their sleeves for their Adopt-A-Highway cleanup. Their hard work helped make the highway leading into our community cleaner and more welcoming for everyone. Lansing FFA Chapter Shines at State Poultry Evaluation at the State FFA Convention yesterday! Congratulations to the Lansing FFA Poultry Evaluation Team on earning a Gold Rating and 5th place overall at the State FFA Career Development Event! Out of 475 members from 133 chapters, our team had an outstanding showing: 🥚 2nd – Shelled Eggs 🍗 6th – Further Processed Poultry 📋 9th – Poultry Management Exam 🐓 12th – Ready-to-Cook Poultry 🐥 18th – Live Poultry Evaluation Individual Results: - Landyn Rankin – 7th - Eli Schobert – 16th - Isabelle Mettille – 55th - Oden Welsh – 128th We’re proud of these members for their hard work and for representing the Eastern Allamakee communities so well at the state level! 💙💛

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Today we celebrate the incredible women who keep our school running smoothly every single day. From our building secretaries to our business office team—thank you for everything you do for our students, staff, and community. We appreciate you more than you know!

Day 1 of the State FFA Leadership Convention is in the books. Today our FFA members toured the Iowa State Ag mechanic shop, 450 farm, and poultry farm. They also attended a session and had lunch at Hickory Park. Tomorrow morning the Poultry Evaluation team competes. Best of luck!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make tonight’s Coed Jr. High Track & Field meet a success!

We truly appreciate our dedicated adult volunteers, the high school boys and girls track teams, Coach Winters, and Coach Ronan for their time and support. A special shoutout as well to everyone who worked the concession stands—your efforts kept things running smoothly all evening.

It takes a team to make an event like this happen, and we’re so grateful for everyone who pitched in. We couldn’t have done it without you!

The Lansing FFA sent 7 members to this years Iowa FFA Leadership Conference in Ames. They are attending leadership workshops and competing in the Poultry Evaluation CDE over the next 2 days. Good luck FFA members!

🌟 Spotlight Sunday: UIC Art Show Edition 🎨

We’re still celebrating the incredible talent from last week’s UIC Art Show! Our students put their creativity and courage on full display, and we couldn’t be more proud.

A special spotlight on FOUR Kee students who earned top honors:

• Jase Troendle (6th Grade) — Honorable Mention for “Llama of Egypt”
• Evelyn Keene (7th Grade) — Honorable Mention for “An Older Sister and her Younger Sister”
• Rose Wheeler (12th Grade) — 1st Place in Photography for “St. Patty’s in Chicago”
• Gwen Furlong (12th Grade) —
  • 1st Place in Digital Art for “The Two Dragons”
  • 2nd Place in Mixed Media for “Reaching Into the World of Reading”

With around 200 students from 11 schools across the Upper Iowa Conference, this recognition is an incredible accomplishment. We are so proud of all who participated—and especially these outstanding artists!

Congrats to our high school track teams on their outstanding performances last night—4 school records were either broken or tied!

All after-school activities and practices are canceled. The middle school dance scheduled for tonight is canceled and will be rescheduled to a later date.

Two of our track & field athletes represented us well today at the Eastern Iowa Track Festival in Iowa City. Lilah Strong placed 3rd in High Jump and 7th in the 400m dash, while Addison Winters earned 1st in the 400m hurdles and 4th in both the 100m hurdles and Long Jump.

Come see the fun show Willy Wonka Jr. this weekend, Saturday, April 11 at 7:00 and Sunday, April 12 at 2:00 Kee High gymnasium! Admission at the door!

New Albin Elementary is recognizing students displaying HAWK behavior for the month of April!

Congratulations to the following students who will receive recognition at the Spring Concert on Monday, April 27th at 6:30 pm.
