Congratulations to the Lansing FFA Agronomy Class for winning the Farmers Union Cooperative Soybean Marketing Contest!
Over the past several months, students participated in a hands-on grain marketing competition involving the marketing of 5,000 bushels of soybeans. Throughout the contest, the Agronomy class learned valuable lessons about grain marketing by tracking market trends and making real-world decisions on when and how much grain to sell.
The Lansing FFA extends a sincere thank you to Farmers Union Cooperative for sponsoring this outstanding educational opportunity and providing students with meaningful, hands-on experience in agricultural marketing.
Brian Anderson of Farmers Union Cooperative presented a $1,000 check to Lansing FFA Treasurer Elliott Renk and members of the Lansing FFA Agronomy Class in recognition of their achievement.
Great job to everyone involved!
