Yesterday the Lansing FFA sent a contestant to the NE District FFA Ag Mechanic Contest held at NICC in Calmar to put their skills to the test. Braiden Hatlan finished 53rd out of 80 participants. They were evaluated on welding, engine parts ID, electrical, trailer wiring, land measurement, engine valve setting, carpentry and a written test.
Great job Braiden!!

The Lansing Middle School 6th graders participated in the Allamakee County Conservation Day at the Waukon City Park Thursday. They learned about native animals and plants, soil, watersheds, trees, and had the chance to kayak. It was a great day of learning!

Today we celebrate National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day 🚌
Our bus drivers are often the first smile our students see in the morning and the last friendly face they see in the afternoon. They do so much more than get our kids safely to and from school—they build relationships, create a welcoming start to each day, and play a vital role in our school community.
We are so grateful for our bus drivers. Thank you for all you do, we appreciate you!

Last night’s Middle School Spring Fling was one to remember! From the music to the laughter to those unforgettable dance moves (middle schoolers definitely know how to keep things interesting on the dance floor 💃🕺), it was a night full of fun and great memories.
We’d like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible volunteers and the generous local businesses who donated to make this event possible. Your time, effort, and support truly made a difference. Events like this simply couldn’t happen without you.

Tonight’s meet was cut short by weather, and we missed the chance to properly honor our seniors.

This will also be Senior Night, which will take place after the 4x200m relay. Senior parents, please plan to arrive earlier than previously requested.
