Superintendent Trenkamp informed the board that attendance letters have been sent to families due to the new attendance laws.  Upper Iowa Conference update:  The conference feels Decorah is not a good fit.  They have appealed and the decision is now up to the Director to make the final decision.  The Safety/Security Grant is in place, and we are waiting for the final proposal.  Superintendent Trenkamp talked about an app that Kee may be interested in.  Apptegy helps the school build your brand, reach your audience, and understand your community with school marketing.  The Des Moines Register interviewed Superintendent Trenkamp about how the new changes to the Area Education Association have impacted EACS.  There are repairs that need to be made on the roofs in New Albin.  Allen Roofing provided quotes, and we will be seeking additional quotes.  Allamakee Community Economic Development is having their annual meeting on October 17, 2024, at T.J. Hunters if anyone is interested in attending.

ADJOURNMENT: Manning made a motion to adjourn, and Wagner made the second, the meeting adjourned at 8:03 p.m.  The vote was all ayes.  Motion carried.
